Eight guest rooms within a restored merchant's storehouse, organised around a courtyard of moss and gravel.
The storehouse’s thick earthen walls set the tone. Rather than open the building up, we kept its introversion and let daylight arrive indirectly — through the courtyard, across a floor of dark timber, filtered by paper.
Each room is a variation on the same few elements: a low platform, a single alcove, a bath carved from local stone.
